Successful Kyu Gradings
Throughout the year we hold kyu gradings, and this year we have had a lot of success.
It's so great to see the development and achievements in our kyu grades.
Winter & Summer Gashuku
East Coast Shotokan Karate club have been a part of the SKIFF Winter and Summer Gashuku's for many years now. This year the club was awarded the PINK BELT!
These weekends involve training with instructors and other students from across the country; from Bo staff to nunchucks, self-defence to beach training. Lots of karate and team games, but most of all, lots of fun!
Kumite Seminar with Sensei Amy Davis
East Coast Shotokan Karate club attended a seminar in Wisbech with Sensei Amy Davis, 3rd Dan, from Shouri Karate Shotokan Club, enduring 3hrs of kumite drills and techniques.
New Merchandise
East Coast Shotokan Karate invested in new branding and merchandise, from water bottles, t-shirts, hoodies and waterproof jackets.

We were complimented for our uniformed presentation at courses and gashuku's.
Sensei Billy turns 80 !
Our club secretary Billy turned 80 this year, and we presented him with some birthday gifts including a personalised ECSK gift.

Despite no longer training and only teaching occasionally, Billy puts a lot of time and effort in to ECSK and we appreciate all that he does.
ECSK Christmas Party
To end another successful year at East Coast Shotokan Karate, we celebrated with a trip to Funky's Skating
